A new accolades trailer for Invincible VS features its entire cast and some great gameplay footage to celebrate a successful launch, accompanied by praise from various critics.

It’s got frenetic action, sick combos, eye-popping specials, and some excellent banter and catchphrases as its cast pummels each other into the ground as they duke it out in its well-implemented 3v3 formula. There are also a few glimpses of some large-scale battles in action, and some great showcases of how this one’s visuals are quite a treat.

All of the praise that’s come its way is well-deserved, and we found it to be a great addition to the fighter genre with some stop-motion animations working well with its responsive controls. The mechanics and their depth are other aspects of the experience that make it quite appealing to fighting aficionados.

Of course, this is only the start, and we’re curious to learn more about the veracity of rumored additions to the game’s Year 1 Character Pass, as well as eager to see more of the two confirmed characters – Universa and the Immortal – in action. We’ll have to exercise patience on that front, but Quarter Up has promised more details in the early Summer.
