Welcome back to another roundup of MMOs and MMO-adjacent multiplayer games you’ve never heard of! Today we’ve got a little something for everyone, assuming the people within that grouping were looking for an econ PvP game, mech-based factional warfare, or a voxel-based building sandbox. These are specific buckets, to be sure, but they’re definitely pretty distinct!

Mogul Life

As you might have already supposed from the title, Mogul Life is a mobile pixel art MMO where players can either be the CEO of their own company or become an employee at another company. In either case, the goal is the same: grow digital wealth by in-game investments such as a stock market or a volatile (and fake) cryptocurrency, grow the business, and climb the corporate ranks. There are even minigames and relaxing activities to unwind as well.

PvP.Farm

This one both tells you what it’s all about on the tin while also being a bit distinct: PvP.Farm is a 3-D browser based factional PvP MMO where players can either be foot soldiers or pilot combat mechs in a constant battlefield of territory control and resource gathering, with no safe zones, PvE, or enemy mobs whatsoever. The solo-built project has just entered into an open beta after four months of development time, so it’s at least free to check out if nothing else.

VoxelMancy

Our final entry in this little list is VoxelMancy, a freeform building sandbox that lets players come together to build all kinds of voxel-based creations. The toolset allows not just for hard voxel crafting but also voxel smoothing, ramps, cylinders, and other shapes in what looks to be as close to an analogue of Landmark as we’re all going to get right now. The game is in free-to-play early access, though its developer does confirm gen AI was used for icons, music, and sounds.
