Free games for Steam Deck don’t exactly grow on trees, but if you’re willing to spend just $14.99, you can grab eight Steam Deck-friendly games worth over $219, thanks to this month’s Humble Choice selection. This game subscription service lets you download all eight titles from each month’s offering and keep them forever, with no obligation to pay again next month. If you end up playing all eight games, that’s a massive saving on their retail price.

What’s more, seven of this month’s games are Steam Deck Verified, while the final one is still rated as Steam Deck Playable – some in-game text is just a little small. That means you not only get a great selection of games, but you can play them from just about anywhere, on what remains the best gaming handheld around.

Leading the charge on this month’s Humble Choice selection is Resident Evil Village. While the 8th installment in the Resi franchise might be approaching its fifth birthday this year, it’s still a fantastic-looking and generally excellent entry in the series that demands $39.99 on Steam.

For a complete switch-up in tone, the second game in this month’s bundle is Date Everything. This cynically hilarious twist on the dating sim genre literally lets you date everything in your house, from the sofa to the air fryer. Its charming cartoon style and humor are perfect for chill-out time, especially after a few hours of Resi.

Changing things up again, StarVaders is an ideal buy for gaming handhelds. This deckbuilding and grid-based tactical title has a brilliant retro art style, an utterly addictive gameplay loop, and won’t put a strain on your handheld’s hardware, letting you play for hours.

The full list of Humble Choice games for February 2026 are:

  • Resident Evil Village – Steam Deck Verified
  • Date Everything – Steam Deck Verified
  • Core Keeper – Steam Deck Verified
  • StarVaders – Steam Deck Verified
  • Squirrel with a Gun – Steam Deck Verified
  • SteamWorld Build – Steam Deck Playable
  • Bus Simulator 21 Next Stop – Steam Deck Verified
  • Big Helmet Heroes – Steam Deck Verified

The way Humble Choice works is that you sign up for a monthly subscription for $14.99, and each month a new selection of eight games is made available to you for free. The games vary considerably from month to month, but are nearly always worth a total of well over $200. The crucial part, though, is that you can cancel your subscription at any time, yet the games are yours to keep forever. So, if a new set of games arrives that you don’t like, you can just skip a month or cancel altogether. To grab your subscription, click on this link here.

This month’s Humble Choice selection has just arrived, so you’ve got all of February to sign up and grab these games. Once March 3 rolls around, though, that’ll be it. A new set of possibilities will arrive, so you’ll miss the chance to grab this current batch.
