Originally priced at a frankly ridiculous $469.99, this card has steadily dropped in price throughout the year, such that it was available for under $400 back at the start of November. The second discount we think you should sit up and pay close attention to is this Sapphire Radeon RX 9070. A more powerful GPU than the RTX 5060 Ti 8GB, this chip is a great choice for 1440p gaming, delivering 140fps in Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 in our Radeon RX 9070 review, for instance. It can also turn its hand to 4K gaming, delivering 60-90fps in many of our gaming tests.
AMD’s ray tracing performance has also improved massively with this generation of GPUs, and the RX 9070 is plenty capable for moments when you want to compromise on peak frame rate for stunning image quality.
