Welcome back to another roundup of MMOs and MMO-adjacent multiplayer games you’ve never heard of! This time around, we’ve got a nautical browser MMO, a spooky co-op title, and a silly little co-op wave survival game. Let’s tuck in to this little salad, shall we?
Pigs and Wolf
We’ll start with the significantly less serious of the bunch, Pigs and Wolf, a multiplayer title for up to four players who work as a piggy team to gather resources, build and repair a wagon house, and survive nighttime attacks from dangerous wolves, all while traveling through a chaotic fairy tale world. This one’s headed to Steam early access soon but has a playable demo available now.
Tidefall
Next up we’ve got Tidefall, a browser-based maritime MMO that sees players slowly grow from a single ship into a fleet of craft in a persistent world of trade, exploration, and naval combat. Sole developer Sephirith aspires to create EVE Online in the Age of Sail as he puts it, and invites players to check out the currently open alpha build and leave feedback.
Invokyr
Last in the list is Invokyr, a creepy-looking co-op title for up to eight players. In this one, teams are forced to play a mystical board game and beat its Gamemaster, all while seeking out special game board dice and surviving a host of deadly traps that spring to life in a haunted manor. Players can expect this one to enter early access right at the beginning of spooky season on Thursday, October 8th.
