Racing is a challenging sport. Multiplayer racing can be a challenging game. But what if Newtonia physics and race courses drawn by players were also added to the equation? Well, friends, you’d get Drawn to Drift, a new multiplayer racer from solo dev FrogForgeGames that lets players fling their cute little spaceship through obstacle courses that players can make themselves.

“Do you feel the call of the void? Are you drawn to drift? Then you came to the right place. But be careful! Braking and turning are especially challenging in space. Without friction, only those who master control over their ship can avoid all obstacles and reach the finish line in time – or at all!”

Just like ye olden games like Asteroids, ships in Drawn to Drift slide around unless players control their directions and acceleration, while added obstacle types like icy walls, black holes, turrets, and special portals can add a new layer of chaos.

The game offers over 20 ships with even more customization choices, a single-player campaign to unlock new cosmetic goodies, and a suite of drawing tools that lets players craft their own unique race courses and share them with others, while multiplayer also offers ranked races and leaderboards to climb.

Drawn to Drift entered into early access last October but has entered into its full release today, April 1st. For those who are curious, a demo is available to check out ahead of nabbing the full game.
