Marvel’s Wolverine Hands-on Previews and Impressions Coming on August 13th

For those who wanted even more information for Marvel’s Wolverine from San Diego Comic-Con, various content creators have confirmed that impressions will be coming on August 13th. Arekkz Gaming on Twitter confirmed the date and revealed that they got to go hands-on with the title and interview Insomniac’s developers.

As such, you can expect other publications and content creators to drop plenty of new details, especially on the combat system and its feel. Here’s hoping we also learn more about the progression and how Wolverine will be unlocking new skills. It should also be interesting to see if any other partner missions are showcased, whether it’s competing with Sabretooth for kills or taking a stealthier approach with, say, Mystique.

Marvel’s Wolverine launches on September 15th for PS5. Thus far, we’ve learned that it takes place several years after Logan left Team X (not the X-Men) and went off on his own. When Bolivar Trask and his Reavers begin abducting mutants, he dons the Wolverine mantle once more to save them.

Of course, things end up more complicated than they seem, especially when former Team X crew and the likes of Jean Grey enter the picture. But unlike Marvel’s Spider-Man, Insomniac says this will be a linear adventure. Furthermore, you can adjust the sheer amount of blood and gore.
