Welcome back to another roundup of MMOs and MMO-adjacent multiplayer games you’ve never heard of! This bundle of games is once again all over the sub-genre map, but that’s what we like to do in this semi-regular news piece. It’s a salad, baby. Get your forks and favorite dressing ready!

Follow Us

We’ll begin with Follow Us, a two-player co-op horror game from Game Atelier where one person wanders a haunted location while the other guides their teammate from a remote van, hacking the environment and monitoring threats. The game has a demo available, while early access is slated for sometime later.

Torebia: Island Odyssey

Next up is an indie MMORPG inspired by Ragnarok Online known as Torebia: Island Odyssey. Developer Twin Studios is building a world of multiple islands to explore in one persistent world, freeform class building, and plenty of player trading and economy mechanics with a slower, old-school feel. Release timing hasn’t been tied down, but there are a pair of dev blogs and a gameplay trailer.

Iron Swarm

Finally we have Iron Swarm, an MMOFPS that sees players taking on the role of gun-toting ants that readers might recall we highlighted last June. Since our last report, the game has undergone a significant visual overhaul, eschewing the game’s original low-poly aesthetic for a higher degree of realism after players voted overwhelmingly in favor of the change. The solo indie dev of Faction 504 has also begun selling bundles of the still-developing title.
