Is Planet Zoo 2 slowly becoming a title whose roster of species might be getting a tad too overwhelming? We don’t think so, but the consistent creature reveals can certainly make it seem that way.
We reported on six new species being added to the game a little over a week ago, and have since seen the Snow Leopard and the Javanese Cownose Ray make their debut. Well, another six species have now been revealed, including the Siamang, Red-eyed tree frog, Javan green magpie, and so on. There’s even more coming on October 13th with some clues about what those new additions might be, although we haven’t been able to spot them yet. Perhaps you might have better luck?
Still, we’re quite impressed by how Frontier Developments has managed to keep as many aces up its sleeve as it has in a promotional campaign that has seen various showcases covering each of the game’s core pillars, and a lot of close looks at how you can help life thrive with only your creativity and the happiness of the animals in your care being the only boundaries. This one’s shaping up to be quite the management sim, and we can’t wait to get started when it drops next week for Xbox Series X/S, PS5, and PC.
