As promised, Netmarble is officially launching RF Online Next today for the global audience, having already delivered it to Korean, Japanese, and Taiwanese gamers.
“RF ONLINE NEXT is the official sequel to RF Online, set in a vast and evolving sci-fi universe where machines replace flesh and blood,” the company says. “The game introduces a dynamic Biosuit system for seamless class switching, massive battlefield tools such as the MAU and Launcher, powerful summons like the Animus, and high-flying real-time combat that blends strategic depth with action-driven gameplay.”
Worth noting here is that RFON isn’t available on Steam – just through Netmarble, EGS, Apple, and Android. The Apple store is still listing the launch for June 18th, and the official Facebook page says it’s 9 p.m. tonight but then says it’s UTC-5, which is actually Central time and fairly unusual for a game launch. That would make it 10 p.m. EDT/9 p.m. CDT. But more likely, they meant 9 p.m. EDT (that aligns with the 2 a.m. UTC-0 time posted to the forums). Timezones are kind of a pain. Either way, you can get your download on right now to be prepared for whichever of those times it turns out to be.
