Crimson Desert Patch Adds Rematches for 69 Bosses, Re-Blockades for 23 Forts and Mines, and More

Crimson Desert has received its newest patch, and while smaller than the last, it includes two major new features: Rematch and Re-blockade. The former allows players to fight any previously cleared bosses, either in the same state as when first encountered or with their stats scaled to the player’s current level.

Kliff, Damiane and Oongka can fight them, and any consumables used will be returned to the player after the fight (though they won’t receive any gear drops). As for Re-blockade, it allows 13 different factions to reoccupy 23 forts and mines, meaning players will have to liberate them again. The feature is enabled by default, and you can adjust whether it happens constantly or not at all.

Pearl Abyss plans to improve the feature with future updates, adding more factions and strongholds to the mix while improving “the overall system of Liberation and Re-blockade.”

Other major features of the patch include two new Legendary animals – the Iron Eagle and Hyacinth Macaw – that can be tamed. The Mountain God Boar is also a new creature that appears under certain conditions, though it’s unclear if it can function as a mount. Check out some of the patch notes below for more details.

Patch 1.05.00 serves as the final update in Pearl Abyss’s current roadmap, though it’s clearly only getting started. Crimson Desert has sold over five million copies and counting, so stay tuned for further details on what’s next.

  • Fixed an issue where housing items automatically retrieved due to Camp Expansion were not displayed in the housing installables UI.
  • Improved crop harvesting in the garden so that you consistently receive a minimum of 2 crops regardless of fertilizer or water supply.

  • Fixed revolving doors in certain puzzles reacting to Force Palm.
  • Fixed an issue where the Tesla Coil item would get stuck in the air under certain conditions.
