With reviews for Control Resonant now live and generally favorable, Remedy Entertainment has revealed the action RPG’s launch times. You can start playing at 7 AM PDT worldwide on September 24th across all platforms, though, as noted before, PS5 players who buy the Digital Deluxe Edition will get 48 hours of early access.
In terms of critical reception, Control Resonant is currently sitting at an 84 Metascore based on 60 reviews. While most are positive, the combat has received some criticism for being repetitive. You can check out our review here – we gave the game a nine out of ten, but called out the same issue.
That said, more investment and time really allowed it to shine, especially given the different tactics required to take down the new enemies. Of course, if you’re in it for the signature Remedy weirdness, whether it’s the space-shifting exploration, the paranatural mysteries or the phenomenal art direction, it should suit your needs quite well. It’s a lengthy adventure as well, requiring nearly 30 hours to finish.
