I couldn’t file Nova Era Atom under MMOs You’ve Never Heard Of because you’ve heard of it already thanks to MMOs You’ve Never Heard Of. We’re doing our part!
Back in March, we covered the game as a sci-fantasy MMO mix with Chinese mythology from developer Amazing Job and Guangzhou Xingjie Network Technology. The Steam page has since been changed to list the dev as Amazing Game and the publisher as Hype Kid, but the purpose – building your own ships in a proc-gen galaxy – remains. And if you were curious about it, now is the time to go get your looky-loo on because the game is currently free-to-play thanks to its Steam Next Fest demo.
“Our team has been hard at work over the past few months,” the studio says. “We went through every single piece of feedback from the last playtest and made adjustments line by line. Now, our Demo is finally live on the Steam store page, and we are officially participating in the Steam Next Fest from June 16th to June 23rd!” The demo reportedly has a new onboarding system for newbies as well as a new combat-centric dungeon.
