Flat2VR Studios announced an official VR port of acclaimed sci-fi shooter System Shock for Meta Quest, PlayStation VR2, and SteamVR.
The shocking reveal was the final announcement at today’s VR Games Showcase. Here’s the trailer:
Flat2VR is partnering with original developer Nightdive Studios for this port. System Shock was a hit with players when it released in 2023 after multiple delays and a seven-year development cycle. It has steadily received updates since release, with the most recent being in March of this year.
System Shock was just one of several announcements from Flat2VR in the showcase. The company also announced a port of comedic first person shooter High on Life, plans to bring a ‘vault’ of new games to PlayStation VR2 including Drop Dead: The Cabin, and a new funding initiative to build bigger and better games.
System Shock VR can be wishlisted now on Steam, PS VR2, and Quest.
