Summer Game Fest is finally upon us, which means plenty of showcases featuring dozens of exciting new game reveals, trailers, and updates. Amid all the excitement and novelty, it can be easy to overlook the games we’ve already seen in years past and haven’t heard about in quite some time. These are the years-old reveals that we’re hoping to learn more about this June.

Clockwork Revolution

Back in 2023, inXile Entertainment revealed the next project from the makers of the Wasteland franchise during the Xbox Games Showcase: Clockwork Revolution. This RPG has a distinct steampunk aesthetic and takes place in the Victorian-era metropolis of Avalon, where key moments of history have been secretly altered to bring wealth and power to the elite. Clockwork Revolution was in early development back in 2023, and three years later, we’re hoping to see more of this intriguing adventure that has major BioShock vibes.

Persona 4 Revival

After months of rumors, Atlus revealed its total remake of 2008’s Persona 4 during the Xbox Games Showcase in June 2025, and we’ve heard pretty much nothing about it since. The story follows a high school student who’s recently moved to a rural town plagued by a series of mysterious murders. As you work to find the culprit, you’ll juggle the demands of school and social life between grueling dungeon crawls that reveal the innermost secrets and insecurities of your companions. Atlus’s previous remake, 2024’s Persona 3 Reload, brought enhanced graphics, audio, and combat to the beloved 2006 game.

Mortal Shell 2

This soulslike sequel from developer Cold Symmetry was announced during last year’s Summer Game Fest Showcase, targeting a 2026 launch on PS5, Windows PC, and Xbox Series X. gamexplore praised the first game, calling it “a version of Dark Souls designed for people who don’t have enough time for Dark Souls.” The studio released new footage in April and reaffirmed its plans for a 2026 release. Still, we wouldn’t be surprised to see more of Mortal Shell 2 — and potentially a release date — during SGF week.

Fairgame$

First revealed as part of Sony’s PlayStation Showcase in May 2023 — the company didn’t host a June event that year — Haven Studios’s competitive heist game has attracted a lot of speculation and concern in the post-Concord era. Since the reveal, the studio has lost key talent, including founder Jade Raymond and creative director Daniel Drapeau. Back in April, Insider Gaming reported that early playtesters of the live-service offering struggled to “find the fun.” The following month, Sony filed a trademark for “Break In,” which observers speculated could be a rebranding for the troubled project. We can’t be the only ones dying to know what’s going on with Fairgame$ — for better or worse.

It’s been a whopping eight years since Bethesda released a teaser trailer for The Elder Scrolls 6 — well before the studio was acquired by Microsoft. We’ve still never seen anything more of the game than that 30-second teaser. However, back in March, Bethesda studio head and creative director Todd Howard said that the epic RPG is the studio’s primary focus for the foreseeable future. “We’re at that point with The Elder Scrolls 6 where the bulk of the studio is on it, a lot of our partners are on it, and we know, ‘Hey, this is what we’re doing.’ So that’s a good place to get to,” Howard said.
