One of Razer’s finest gaming mice, the Razer Viper V3 Pro, has seen some heavy discounts in recent weeks, and right now you can get one for $45 less than usual. As well as this potentially being a great time to grab an upgrade, this also fuels recent rumors of an impending Razer Viper V4 Pro.

Just a couple of weeks ago, we saw a very convincing Razer Viper V4 Pro leak that showed a camouflaged mouse with a shape very similar to the Razer Viper V3 Pro but sporting the new wireless dongle of the Razer Deathadder V4 Pro. If you’re looking to grab Razer’s latest and greatest, you might want to wait for that mouse to be fully revealed, but if you’re just after one of the best gaming mouse options available right now, and for a great price, you might want to take advantage of current discounts.

The best deal I’ve seen today is that Amazon is selling the Razer Viper V3 Pro for $114.99. That’s a massive $45 saving on the otherwise premium price of this mouse. Of course, there is a chance prices will fall further, if a new Razer Viper V4 Pro is announced imminently, but there’s no guarantee, and there’s every chance that stock of the V3 Pro will disappear quickly, too.

If you’re not a fan of lining Bezos’ pockets, Razer’s own store also has a $30 discount, dropping from $159.99 to $129.99, while Walmart also has the white version of this mouse available for $129, saving you a whole 99 cents over Razer’s store price.

In our Razer Viper V3 Pro review, we were won over by basically every aspect of this mouse, from its compact yet comfortable symmetrical shape to its flawless performance and impressively low weight. It also looks great, whether you opt for a plain black or white, or one of the more recent variants, such as esports green, the Sentinels and Faker esports team editions, or the truly gorgeous Dragon Lore CS2 option. Although, sadly, it’s only the black and white versions that are broadly discounted.

The only problem with this mouse was its price, which launched at $159.99 and has generally stayed at around that price since its May 2024 debut, save for a few occasional discounts. Now, though, this still excellent mouse is available for a far more competitive price.

If the Razer Viper V3 Pro does arrive – perhaps in May of this year, for a nice clean two-year gap between launches – it will no doubt bring some advances in performance, such as seemingly including the same 8kHz wireless dongle as the Deathadder V4 Pro. I’d also expect it to come with the same Focus Pro 45K DPI sensor, 2nd-gen Hyperspeed wireless, and maybe a gram or two in weight saving. With the Deathadder V4 Pro debuting at $169.99, though, I’d expect the Viper V4 Pro to be similar, so you’ll be paying a hefty premium to go with the latest and greatest.
