The new independent Supernatural now has a Coming Soon page on the Meta Horizon Store ahead of its planned launch this fall.

Supernatural’s new independent app can now be wishlisted, while Meta’s existing version has been renamed Supernatural – Legacy Edition.

The two apps now appear separately in the Horizon Store. Existing athletes who own Supernatural will see the Legacy Edition in their library, while the new Supernatural is listed as Coming Soon.

In a post to the Official Supernatural Community on Facebook, coach Mark Harari said the new app will bring back Boxing and Flow with fresh workouts, new music, and environments presented “in higher definition.”

Supernatural is also directing existing athletes to wishlist the new app from inside the existing VR app. A message posted inside the Legacy Edition announces the new Coming Soon page and asks athletes to wishlist it ahead of the relaunch.

The separate listings reflect how the transition will work. The new Supernatural is separate from Meta’s existing app. Athletes will need to move to the new app developed by Supernatural Health, the independent company formed to take over the Supernatural experience.

As UploadVR reported last week, Meta ended new development of Supernatural and laid off its team in January. Five months later, Meta announced that Supernatural Health would take over the experience, with the original founders returning and former members of the team coming back.

Supernatural Head of Fitness Leanne Pedante told UploadVR that the independent company is operating with a team of about 15 people, compared with nearly 200 at its largest. All six current Supernatural coaches are joining the new company.

Meta’s Supernatural – Legacy Edition will remain available until December 3, 2026, while the independent Supernatural is expected to launch this fall. An exact release date hasn’t been announced.

Call to action inside the listing for the Legacy Edition.

Supernatural Health previously announced pricing of $20 per month or $200 annually. Athletes who register for a Founding Membership through Supernatural Health’s website can lock in a discounted annual price of $180 for the first year.

For now, athletes can wishlist the new Supernatural directly through its Meta Horizon Store page.
