Not simply satisfied with a release date for Pragmata, Capcom premiered a brand new trailer for Resident Evil Requiem. As leaked by the PlayStation Store, Leon S. Kennedy is a playable character and unlike Grace, his gameplay is more action-oriented.

Along with wielding a magnum and kicking fools in the face, Leon can also wield a chainsaw, getting some revenge after all the years of torment at the hands of Dr Salazar. While he saves Grace at one pivotal moment, he has his own investigation ongoing. Then there’s the mysterious Victor Gideon, who was involved with Umbrella and purchased a building related to the corporation.

As always, we’ll need to wait for more details. Launching on February 27th, 2026, Resident Evil Requiem is the result of Capcom’s curiosity to revisit the aftermath of Raccoon City. It’s the first title in the franchise to offer both first and third-person perspectives, which players can switch between at will. Unlike previous entries, there won’t be a demo as the development team wants to focus on finishing the title.
