Stealth thriller Out of Sight VR comes to PlayStation VR2 this holiday season with a Meta Quest port to follow in early 2027.

These release windows were announced at this week’s VR Games Showcase alongside a new trailer:

Out of Sight VR launched in Early Access on Steam in May 2025 and currently has a ‘Positive’ rating from 45 reviews. The ‘Early Access’ information box on the Steam store states a projected Q4 2025 end to Early Access and obviously we are well past that target. Flat2VR, amongst its numerous projects like the recently announced VR ports of High On Life and System Shock, has been fairly silent on Out of Sight in recent months, so it is good for PS VR2 and Quest users eager to play the game to get some clarity.

Out of Sight VR Review-In-Progress: A Sight to Behold

Out of Sight’s “second-person” perspective proves it’s already a great fit for VR, even with more polish to come.

Out of Sight uses a unique ‘second-person” perspective where the world is viewed through the eyes of a stuffed bear carried around by the protagonist. The bear can be placed in marked locations through the game so the young girl can be controlled by the player from the bear’s point of view to complete puzzles and progress through the disturbing mansion she is being held prisoner in. It is a novel approach we called a “fascinating and engaging horror game where you’re not the one in danger” in our partial review last year.

Out of Sight VR can be wishlisted now on PS VR2 and Meta Quest.
