Kingdom Come Salvation Could Be The Next Game in the Series After Trademark Appears in Europe

The name of Warhorse Studios’ “new Kingdom Come adventure” may have been revealed courtesy of a EUIPO trademark for Kingdom Come Salvation. Discovered by Resetera, it was filed and received on July 23rd, with the developer specifically named as the owner and even an official logo revealed.

This could indicate a possible announcement sometime in the near future, and given that Gamescom Opening Night Live is coming up in August, a teaser trailer certainly seems on the cards. The question is whether Warhorse Studios has more to show.

It recently confirmed that the next Kingdom Come would also be an open-world action RPG like its contemporaries and that it would launch sometime between April 2027 and March 2028. Interestingly, the trademark mentions “entertainment services for matching users with computer games,” which could mean co-op (or, in the worst case scenario, competitive multiplayer).

Regardless of whether it appears at Gamescom or not, it’s an exciting prospect, especially following the conclusion of Henry’s story in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2. The latter crossed six million sales last month after receiving extensive critical acclaim last year. There’s even a new Balatro-themed quest for players to enjoy.

As for the more distant future, Warhorse Studios is working on an open-world role-playing game set in JRR Tolkien’s Middle-earth. Details are currently sparse, and it’s not even confirmed whether it’s based on established properties like The Lord of the Rings or The Hobbit. Stay tuned for more updates as always.
