The ID@Xbox showcase returns, and it’s collaborating with IGN again to showcase 20 indie games. That includes The Wolf Among Us Remastered and titles from publisher Critical Reflex, but the rest of the line-up is a mystery.
IGN has touted “exclusive” reveals from new and forthcoming Xbox and PC titles. And yes, there will be the standard world premieres. There’s simply no escaping from it. At least you can expect some gameplay alongside the trailers and reveals.
The inclusion of The Wolf Among Us Remastered is interesting, however, because it launches on October 29th for current- and previous-gen platforms (PS4 not included). Perhaps we’ll see more of its new features in action, including the hour-plus of bonus content and visual improvements over the original. The latter was certainly enough to impress those who previously worked on the game, including the cast.
As for Critical Reflex, a release date for Militsioner, previously showcased last June, could be announced. The immersive sim caught our attention with its Kafka-esque premise, where you must navigate a world where a giant policeman roams, and it could stand out in 2027.
