Are you hungry to play the early access of Steel Aces? Hungry enough to download the game on its own proprietary platform? Can you handle the societal and personal pressure of playing a PC game that’s not on Steam?? If you answered yes to any of those questions, then there’s good news, because this week has indeed started early access for the game on its own platform.
For those who don’t recall, this free-to-play title is really hanging its hat on historical accuracy, with the promise of realistic ballistics, component-based damage and tactical, line-of-sight combat that rewards tactical skill and strategic shooting. The game’s early access build promises more simulation of tracked vehicle movement and engine power for better vehicle performance, easier to read UI elements related to ammo and loadouts, and polished progression paths, among other improvements.
For those who must have Steel Aces on their SSDs right now, the game can be downloaded directly from its website. And if you must have this one on Steam and only Steam, then you’ll have to wait until sometime “early next week” for it to arrive on that platform. Assuming you can tough it out.
