Playground Games’ Forza Horizon 6 is officially confirmed to launch on January 26th, 2027, for PS5, despite the developer’s reassurance that it would arrive this year. Regardless, pre-orders are now available on the PlayStation Store, and you can check out the latest trailer (complete with praise from various outlets).
Similar to Xbox Series X/S and PC, the PS5 version will cost $69.99. There’s also the Deluxe Edition for $99.99, which includes the base game, Car Pass, and Welcome Pack, and the Premium Edition for $119.99. The latter offers the same benefits alongside the VIP Membership, Time Attack Car Pack, Italian Car Pack, Expansion 1 and Expansion 2.
You also get five days of advanced access, meaning your journey begins on January 21st, 2027. PS5 players can also experience the first Expansion on the same day. And yes, that applies for multiple platforms, as the developer has confirmed on Steam (though the content remains a mystery).
Check out our review of Forza Horizon 6 here, where we scored it a 9 and praised its stellar open world, excellent driving mechanics, and more. Despite extensive critical acclaim, the post-launch reception has left some fans wanting because of the lack of communication. Head here for more details.
