Ubisoft promised that Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced would receive New Game Plus this week, and as it turns out, that time is 7 AM PT tomorrow, October 27th. As the name indicates, players can start a new journey while carrying over almost everything from a previous playthrough.
That includes all of Edward’s weapons, trinkets, and upgrades along with the Jackdaw’s upgrades, pets, and more. Any trade goods, money, materials, customizable outfits, hideout progression, Kenway Fleet ships, Codex items, and more will also carry over.
However, there’s a bit more nuance to what isn’t making the jump. For example, you retain officer abilities, but you’ll need to recruit them again. The world must also be rediscovered, including recapturing forts.
But the best part is that New Game Plus isn’t the end. You can embark on four more cycles for greater challenges, including more Elite Soldiers and max-rank ships. To what end? Escudos, an exclusive currency used to purchase NG+-exclusive items and outfits (which you can check out below).
It’s certainly a lot grander than we expected from the remake and should keep fans busy until the next big update. Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced is available for Xbox Series X/S, PS5, and PC. Check out our review here.
