Two for the price of zero
The Epic Games Store is offering two great free PC games this week for Epic users. For a limited time, you can grab a horror FPS and a murder mystery game at no charge.
Sker Ritual
Sker Ritual is a co-op horror shooter. Take down hordes of frightening foes in solo play or in a group of up to four players online. It’s a bit old-school, taking a round-based approach to throwing enemies your way. Like in Hades, you’ll get new abilities and upgrades from gods. Celtic gods will bestow unique Miracles to ensure you’re ready to slay endless waves of monsters. Sker Ritual has nearly 4,000 Very Positive player reviews on Steam.
Home — A Unique Horror Adventure
Home is an oldie but a goodie. Originally released in 2012, it’s a pixel art horror game. Your character wakes up in a house that isn’t his and starts investigating a murder mystery. The clues you gather and actions you take will ultimately decide the ending, and your ending is likely to be different than other players’ endings. Developer BancyCo pulls back the curtain in a unique Postmortem Mode as a developer diary and gallery explains how the game was made.
If Sker Ritual and Home catch your eye, all you need to do is log in to the Epic Games Store and claim them. The games will be free until 11 a.m. EDT on Thursday, Oct. 29.
