We have a fair bit of respect for Broken Ranks, the grimdark turn-based MMORPG from Polish developer Whitemoon Games, even if it doesn’t make a lot of headlines but still keeps on truckin’. Well, today it’s made a pretty significant headline, particularly for fans who want to play the game on the go: The MMO is headed for Android devices on Wednesday, October 21st.
The announcement comes with a trailer (as one might expect) and pre-registration on Google Play is also available so fans can get the game fired up the second it comes online. What’s more, the Android version and PC version both offer crossplay and support cross-platform progression, meaning fans can keep up their progress on either platform and can play together on both.
A related FAQ further confirms that an iOS version is on the way sometime in the future, explained a few minor features that will be missing in the mobile version, confirmed that there will not be any ads in the game, and stated that while it can be played on Android tablets, its UI elements might not work for such higher resolution devices. Also, don’t let the FAQ trip you up; the release is October 21st, not the 26th.
