Kickstarted multiplayer RTS ZeroSpace has officially launched into early access this week and is celebrating with community events for PvE and PvP. The initial early access build includes the 12 mission first act of the campaign, 10 co-op missions for the MMO-inspired competitive PvE Galactic War mode, a wave defense survival mode, and ranked and casual PvP.
The developers at Starlance Studios are marking the launch with events for both PvE and PvP fans. Firstly, Galactic War Season Zero runs from July 20th through August 2nd. During this initial pre-season, players can pledge themselves to the team of one of three RTS content creators — Winter, Neo, or uThermal — and earn influence for the creator’s faction by playing co-op missions. All participants will receive in-game cosmetic rewards.
For the more esports minded, the First Contact Invitational will run from July 20th to August 8th. Twelve current and former esports pros and content creators — including the likes of Harstem, MaNa, and White-Ra (special tactics!) — will compete against each other in a dedicated ladder leaderboard before a final tournament showdown on August 9th with a $13,000 prize pool.
