Welcome back to another roundup of MMOs and MMO-adjacent multiplayer games you’ve never heard of! If you’re here for extraction games, “co-op spaceship chaos,” or a multiplayer roguelike deck builder, you’re in the right place. If you’re not, then read on anyway; either way you might discover something new.
Mistfall Hunter
We begin with Mistfall Hunter, a PvPvE extraction ARPG that we first covered all the way back in 2024. We’re checking back in to report that the game has shifted its release timing, with its next beta test now scheduled to be part of the Steam Next Fest on June 15th, followed by a full global release on July 29th. In the meantime, the game has been posting plenty of development notes.
Crewed
Next is that “spaceship chaos” title we referenced in the lede: Say hello to Crewed, a multiplayer game where teams of up to six try to coordinate inside of a barely functional spaceship, navigating the dangers of space, environmental hazards, and the stresses of maintaining a rickety bucket of a craft. The game has a demo available right now and plans a release sometime in the third quarter of this year.
Forsaken Lands
Last but not least is Forsaken Lands, a co-op deckbuilding roguelike for up to three players that features all of the familiar trappings one might expect in this sub-genre, though it also has a story mode for solo players who want to enjoy a narrative. The game kicked off a playtest in mid-May that’s still going on right now if you’re interested.
