Hey, do we have any veterans of RF Online from back in the day? This Korean sci-fi MMO originally materialized back in 2004 and went through a twisty-turny operational history that ultimately led to a complete demise back in 2025. However, the upshot is that Netmarble’s ready to release the newest iteration in the franchise — RF Online Next — on June 16th.
The global launch for the mecha sequel follows a more limited rollout in Korea, Japan, and Taiwan that’s already happened. This launch expands to “multiple regions online” with support for 16 languages as well as PC and mobile platforms. Players who pre-register can earn some bonus goodies.
“RF Online Next is the official sequel to RF Online, set in a vast and evolving sci-fi universe where machines replace flesh and blood. The game introduces a dynamic Biosuit system for seamless class switching, massive battlefield tools such as the MAU and Launcher, powerful summons like the Animus, and high-flying real-time combat that blends strategic depth with action-driven gameplay,” said Netmarble.
