Fans of multiplayer survival games that manage to blend cute visuals with eldritch-like horrors might be familiar with Don’t Starve Together from Klei Entertainment. And while the developer and publisher has certainly had plenty of success with the original, it’s now time for a sequel.

Say hello to Don’t Starve Elsewhere, the new game in the series that promises all of the same “uncompromising survival” gameplay and blend of 2-D and 3-D visuals that the original is well-known for, only it’s now set in a dark gothic fantasy realm that promises new biomes with distinct climates, new resources, and some new threats to fear.

Details about this one are still a bit sparse, but the game is available for wishlisting on Steam who like the cut of this one’s paper doll characters. Otherwise, there’s the reveal trailer complete with some gameplay snippets to watch below.
