Forza Horizon 6 is Still Targeting the First Half of 2026 – Rumor

Forza Horizon 6’s Map is Playground Games’ “Biggest Yet” and “Also Our Most Full”

With Grand Theft Auto 6 now launching in the back half of next year, the field is clear for big publishers like Microsoft. Fable, Gears of War: E-Day, Halo: Campaign Evolved, and much more could get release dates, either at The Game Awards or at the next potential Developer_Direct. However, it seems one major is seemingly sticking to its previously alleged release window.

Of course, we’re talking about Forza Horizon 6, previously rumored by insider NateTheHate as targeting launch in the first half of next year. He has since reiterated that this remains the case.

It’s interesting because previous titles in the series have typically launched in the Fall. Forza Horizon 5, for instance, became available in November 2021, carving out a tidy space and becoming the biggest first-party launch for Xbox at the time. So what gives? Perhaps Microsoft wants to keep the second half of the year free based on the progress of other projects.

Time will ultimately tell, so stay tuned. Forza Horizon 6 is coming to Xbox Series X/S and PC at launch, with the PS5 version slated for later. It ventures to Japan, which Playground promises to be its “biggest” and “most full” map yet.

First half 2026 has been the target and remains as such.
