How many battleships can your PC hold? If you can’t get enough enormous boat floating around in your SSD, then you’re in luck because the mobile and console game World of Warships: Legends is also making its way to PC on Tuesday, May 5th. That’s at least double the warships, assuming you also have World of Warships installed too.
The game’s arrival to Steam, Microsoft Store, and Xbox Game Pass players promises the same “signature naval action from consoles and mobile,” as well as cross-platform progression for those who also happen to have battleships floating around on their console or mobile device. So many boats, you guys.
Speaking of World of Warships, this week has brought an update to the game as well, with a new dockyard event that lets players put together the German ZH-1 destroyer, two new battle passes that celebrates Golden Week and the Battle of the Coral Sea with stylish ship skins, and other additions like new objective points that showcase personal contributions to a team’s overall success and tweaks to the domination mode, aircraft carriers, and the Mountain Range map.
But maybe tanks are more your jam? In that case, you may want to know that World of Tanks: Heat, the arcade-style game with less realism and more hero shooter vibes, has announced that it’s heading for closed beta on Thursday, April 16. The test build promises multiple tanks and commanders to support several playstyles, four different game modes, and eight maps for teams to duke it out on. Signups are available through the official site.
If you prefer realistic tank battling, then there’s something to note for regular World of Tanks, namely the game’s 15th anniversary celebration that’s running between now and April 20th. Players can expect login goodies and an event track that lets players unlock extra rewards by earning enough cupcake points via special birthday missions.
