You need three for Flickering Flames
Candle holders are a crafting material found in Residential areas in Arc Raiders. At the time of writing, they’re required for the Flickering Flames project, as the second stage requires three of them to be donated, alongside some other resources. Chances are you’ve found them in the past and either sold or recycled them because they weren’t used to craft anything themselves.
As with everything in Arc Raiders though, candle holders do have a specific item type and loot pool associated with them, so your chances of finding them are increased if you look in specific places. Here’s where you can find candle holders in Arc Raiders.
Arc Raiders candle holder locations
Candle holders are classed as a Residential item, so you want to go to any location on each of the maps that is marked as housing Residential loot. Here are some of your best options:
- Ruby Residence and Pale Apartments on Dam Battlegrounds
- Grandioso Apartments, Santa Maria Houses, and Red Tower on Buried City
- Village, Raiders Refuge, and Ruined Homestead on The Blue Gate
Loot is random in Arc Raiders, so it may take a while, but you should specifically target typical residential containers like cupboards, suitcases, and cabinets. Keep an eye out for any lying around as floor loot too. It may just be confirmation bias, but it does feel like the spawn rate for candle holders has increased slightly since they’re now required for the project, or maybe it’s just because I’m specifically keeping an eye out for them. Who knows?
