Walkabout’s fifth official DLC course of 2026, Escape from Planet Xylodon, releases on October 8.
Mighty Coconut announced the new course on its social media channels with the following description:
Respond to a distress beacon on Planet Xylodon, a world lush with some of the most beautiful (and strange) plant life ever seen by humankind.
Given the time of year, the alien world setting may lend itself to some darker elements like in October 2025’s Forgotten Fairyland and 2023’s Widow’s Walkabout.
The developer has not released a trailer for the course yet. We will update this article when that happens. We are currently getting a course walkthrough and interview scheduled with some of the Mighty Coconut team, as we do for all of Walkabout’s new DLC. Look for that next week when the course releases. Mighty Coconut took us behind the scenes of Gloop Lair, its newest Walkabout Mini Golf course that is an homage to the 90s.
Walkabout Mini Golf is available on Steam, PSVR2, Quest, Pico, and Samsung Galaxy XR. The game is also available as part of Meta’s Horizon+ subscription service. Escape from Planet Xylodon releases on October 8 for all VR platforms.
