Turok: Origins Gets New Gameplay Trailer With Intense Action And Deadly Enemies

We’re getting quite close to finally playing Turok: Origins after a very long wait for what Saber’s touting as a faithful revival of the classic dino-shooting franchise.

A new gameplay trailer, showcased below, is making the final leg of that wait a lot harder than it is, though. It showcases members of the mystical Turok Order taking on threats that would send anybody else with their survival instincts acting as they should running to safety, if that even exists in the Lost Lands. On the dinosaur side of things, there are some deadly beasts that you’re going to have to take on with an arsenal of cool weapons, and of course, draw out their DNA to give yourself a better chance at surviving future encounters.

But the dinos aren’t the only thing you need to worry about, as the Lost Lands are also facing an alien invasion, and we can tell you that they’re looking like quite a nasty bunch. There are brutes, mages, and other devious beings to take on, and we can’t wait to see what kinds of abilities their DNA leads to.

This one’s scheduled for a Fall 2026 release on PC, PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch 2, although a concrete release date is yet to be announced.
