VR puzzle journey Tin Hearts is stepping into the Christmas spirit, bringing its first act to Quest subsequent month.

Developed by Rogue Solar and IPHIGAMES, Tin Hearts is a Lemmings-style sport that explores the story of a fictional Victorian inventor, Albert Butterworth. Guiding toy troopers by way of this Dickensian world with block-based puzzles, VR assist arrived in a post-launch on PS VR2 and Steam final yr. Now, it is coming to Quest in an episodic launch that begins on December 11.

Launch date trailer

Detailed in a press launch, writer Wired Productions calls Act 1 a standalone episode the place these tiny troopers are appropriately dressed for the festive season in an attic stuffed with toys. Costing $5.99 for the primary half, Acts 2, 3, and 4 will comply with “within the coming weeks” on Quest, although no particular launch dates had been confirmed.

Initially launched by way of a now delisted PC VR prologue on PC VR in 2018, we had constructive impressions in our Tin Hearts VR preview two years in the past. Stating it gives “some well-considered mechanics” that caught our consideration, we believed it offers “pleasing puzzles and an intriguing whimsical setting.”

Tin Hearts is out now in full on flatscreen platforms, PS VR2, and PC VR. Act 1 arrives on the Meta Quest platform on December 11.
