Marvel Tōkon: Fighting Souls launches on August 6th for PS5 and PC, and right on time, Arc System Works has a launch trailer to celebrate. It showcases each hero and villain while featuring a fair amount of gameplay to highlight the assist system (known as Assemble). Check it out below.

Of course, we already know a fair amount about what to expect, from the 4v4 mechanics (which are content to let you mainline a single character) to the five different arcs in Episode Mode. There are also local Versus and online modes complete with Ranked to work your way up the ladder.

What’s interesting are those that haven’t been talked about, like All-Star Arena, which involves navigating courses with different battles as each team. There’s also Battle Arcadia, a collection of mini-games that seemingly exist in the online lobby, and Arcadia Rumble, a kind of PvP beat ’em up. Given Granblue Fantasy: Versus featured something similar and was developed by ArcSys, these additional modes aren’t too surprising.

We’ll find out how they play when Marvel Tōkon: Fighting Souls arrives later this week. For all the latest details, check out our feature and head here to learn about how the development team is improving the experience for PC players.
