Survival shooter Into the Radius 2’s PlayStation VR2 release has been pushed back from September 24 to October 8, citing an issue with certification for Sony’s platform.
Here is the exact wording from developer CM Immersive’s email:
During the final certification stage, we identified a few things that still need attention. We want to use this time to make sure the PS VR2 version is in the best possible shape before players enter the Radius.
From speaking to developers, Sony’s certification and approval process has been said to be considerably more rigorous than that of Meta or Steam. Into the Radius 2 left Early Access on Steam and Quest earlier this year, paving the way for a PS VR2 version to come to market, as Sony’s platform has traditionally not favored the Early Access process.
Into The Radius 2 Coming To PlayStation VR2 In September
Into the Radius 2 lands on PlayStation VR2 on September 24. It takes full advantage of the headset’s features, but co-op support will come later this year.
We previously reported that the game will run at a native 90fps and utilize PS VR2’s features like eye-tracked dynamic foveated rendering, headset haptics, and the controllers’ adaptive triggers. However, co-op gameplay mode was announced to come sometime in Q4 2026.
