While the Burning Springs update brought a lot of excellent things to Fallout 76, the Blood x Rust season wasn’t really on that list. The Rust King storyline was promising but way too short, and the rewards have been a little boring, as it’s mostly just Raider versions of items and a Vault-Tec Cowboy outfit. Thankfully, the season ends next week, and what’s coming to Fallout 76 next looks wonderful.

On Thursday, Bethesda Softworks revealed the details behind the next season of Fallout 76, known as Rip Daring and the Cryptids from Beyond the Cosmos, in a new teaser video. If you’ve been playing the game for a while, the name Rip Daring may sound familiar, as he’s the fictional protagonist of the in-world Astoundingly Awesome Tales magazine. He was first introduced in season 11 of Fallout 76, Rip Daring and the Cryptid Hunt.

In the teaser, we see a plethora of very cool rewards for both the free rewards track and the premium rewards track for those subscribed to the Fallout 1st service. It’s safe to say that if you’re a fan of old science fiction movies, government conspiracies, or the threat of an alien invasion, you’re in for a treat.

There are plenty of items on the free track, but it would be irresponsible to start anywhere but with a new CAMP reward for Fallout 1st subscribers. Bethesda has given players a number of weather station options to control the climate over their camps, ranging from clear and sunny days to the Mothman weather control station that casts a hazy purple glow over everything.

Those will surely all be retired with the new Alien Invasion weather control station, though. The station basically puts your camp in a state of perpetual UFO invasion, and it looks incredible. This is the kind of weird Fallout 76 needs to embrace more often.

Among the other items available this season are a Pip-Boy display stand, the Starlight Drive-In marquee, a bloody space suit, a neon Rip Daring sign, a healing arch, and even a new alien abduction sign to add to your ever-growing collection (plus a new Bigfoot stein display to place it on). You can see the rewards for both the free and Fallout 1st tracks below.
