After officially confirming that Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced exists, Ubisoft is wasting no time showcasing the title to the world. A reveal stream has been announced for April 23rd at 9 AM PDT, and could finally unveil what it’s changing for all and sundry.
Based on the acclaimed 2013 action-adventure, Resynced has been rumored since 2023. It was allegedly supposed to launch in November 2025, had Assassin’s Creed Shadows not been delayed. The publisher’s big reshuffle, which saw the original’s co-director Jean Guesdon taking over as head of content on the franchise, reportedly led to another delay.
Among the more notable reports are that it seemingly includes map improvements, weather conditions akin to Shadows (which look fantastic), and new content. Of course, other claims, including the supposed removal of modern-day sections, haven’t gone down too well with the fan base. It remains to be seen whether they’re true, though.
Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced doesn’t have any platforms or a release window, but perhaps we’ll learn more during the reveal showcase.
