Arc Raiders players have destroyed 14.8 billion robots, but Embark is keeping its PvP stats quiet

It’s been a pretty eventful first year for Arc Raiders, and Embark Studios has the numbers to prove it. The developer has shared an infographic celebrating the game’s first 12 months, revealing that players have completed a staggering six billion rounds since launch. That’s roughly 16.4 million rounds every single day. I think it’s fair to say people have been keeping busy.

Across those rounds, players have destroyed more than 14.8 billion Arc enemies, including 3,920,595 Queens and 2,919,521 MatriArchs. That’s an awful lot of robot scrap, although I imagine the people who’ve had to deal with those larger machines might have a few choice words about the experience. Some of the other Arc Raiders figures are considerably more entertaining.

One Raider managed to heal 5,643 other players, while the most strangers healed by a single player in one raid was 18. That’s a lovely bit of cooperation in a game where you can never be entirely sure whether the person standing in front of you is about to offer a helping hand or empty a magazine into your back.

Then there’s the rather unfortunate 3,625 players who have been taken out by volcanic rocks. Apparently, the environment can be just as deadly as the machines roaming around it. Embark also revealed that the Anvil is the Rust Belt’s favourite weapon, while players have fed Scrappy a whopping 6,800 tonnes of food. His favourite? Apricots, naturally.

There’s one thing missing from the anniversary roundup, though: any meaningful breakdown of PvP activity. There’s nothing about how many Raiders have been knocked out, how much PvP damage has been dealt, or how many unfortunate souls have been looted after losing a fight.

That’s a shame, because the unpredictable encounters between players are a huge part of what makes Arc Raiders fascinating. I’d have loved to see just how many friendly encounters sit alongside all those betrayals and ambushes. Still, six billion rounds in a year is quite the milestone.
