A new goalkeeping soccer game has arrived on Quest today.
Incisiv, the developers of CleanSheet Soccer 2, have released their goaltending arcade game on Meta Quest today. The game had previously been available on PlayStation VR2 only. Interestingly, the Quest version costs $24.99, which is $10 less than the PlayStation VR2 release.
CleanSheet Soccer 2 approaches the ball from a different angle, both literally and figuratively. Rather than chase the fantasy of scoring spectacular goals, here you’re trying to stop them. You play as a goalkeeper, using your hands to punch, block, catch, and deflect shots in training missions, mock games, and arcade-style minigames.
We reviewed CleanSheet Soccer 2 when it debuted on PlayStation VR2 earlier this year, and found it to be “a simple idea, executed very well [and] a focused, energetic, and surprisingly authentic goalkeeper experience that feels perfectly suited to VR.”
CleanSheet Soccer 2 is available on PlayStation VR2 and, starting now, Meta Quest.
