EverQuest Legends’ release sees at least one small patch and overall stable response from fans

It should come as little surprise to our regular readers here that we’d be checking in on EverQuest Legends after its first full day of release, and by all immediate accounts, things appear to be running stably and smoothly. Or at least in such a way that there’s not a column of smoke rising on the horizon.

The MMORPG thus far has received one teensy little patch that addresses some matters related to musical cues, buff counter displays, and server stability for instances. Meanwhile Game Jawn is preparing for a celebratory livestream tomorrow, July 31st, at 2:00 p.m. EDT, with several of the devs.

As for player reception, that seems to also be on an even keel: The game’s subreddit currently appears to be full of questions for guidance and some theorycrafting, while its official Discord has a number of feedback threads that ask for things like improvements to the Beastlord, changes to things like group size and the Kerran race’s run animation, and an easier to see mouse cursor; there’s a particularly amusing request for this last option we’ve screenshotted below. We’ve still got the weekend ahead, but as far as we can tell, this launch looks like smooth sailing.
