Marvel Tōkon: Fighting Souls continues to enthrall us with its potential, and the Green Goblin becomes an unlikely ally of ours in proving why that’s the case.
The villain is all sorts of trouble, with his glider, Pumpkin Bombs, Razor Bats, and of course, the Goblin Surprise all working to make him a deadly threat up close and at range. His moves are a zoner’s dream, as he can keep his enemies at a distance on a whim, choosing the perfect moments to swoop in and launch combos that take the fight to dizzying heights in the right hands.
He might prove to be a challenge to nail down, as Spider-Man would attest to, but learning that moveset definitely looks like it could win you more than your fair share of fights. In terms of Character Guides, we’re still not over that one with Wolverine, and it’s a great contrast against Green Goblin and showcases potential variety between characters to set them apart in terms of their gameplay.
Of course, the team is busy investigating those performance issues at the moment, while also prepping up for Phoenix Cyclops a little later down the line. Until then, Marvel Tōkon: Fighting Souls is out on August 6th for PS5 and PC.
