Even if its existence has been mired in controversy, Pocketpair’s Palworld has had an incredible journey since entering early access in January 2024, crossing 40 million players. With over 215 Pals, numerous new regions to explore, and new challenges, early access is pretty packed, but things are going to get even busier when 1.0 launches on July 10th.
A new launch trailer is available, highlighting several of the new Pals coming to the game after early access ends, including Ophydia, Sekhmet, Dupin, Hoodle, Puffolt, and many more. Pocketpair is also teasing a giant new landmass, which may be referring to the collection of floating isles. Good thing new equipment like the Wing Pack is available so you don’t always have to rely on your Pals to get around.
Of course, there are also new structures, offshore base-building, revised raid mechanics, and much more to enjoy. Save data won’t be wiped when exiting early access, but the developer encourages fans to start a fresh playthrough because several existing locations have new content. It may also help provide a refresher of the storyline, especially since its conclusion at the World Tree is imminent.
