If some game studio told you that something called a prism is important enough to fight over, would you do it? What if that game lets you play as a big kitty man? Whatever the draw might be, there’s a new PvP-centered multiplayer title that we’re spotlighting called Project ZETA, which pits teams against one another for a prism because stop asking questions and go fight as big kitty man.

“Project ZETA is a multi-team tactical arena game where four teams of three players compete at the same time on a single battlefield. Each match centers on the Prism, an objective that teams must secure and return to a designated point to win.”

While a game like this can certainly look familiar, publisher Krafton and developer Nivranana Studio contend that multiple teams battling over the sole objective bring “shifting fights, unpredictable encounters, and constant competition across the map.” A release date for the game isn’t tied down yet, but it does plan on arriving to PC and console players with full crossplay.

The game held some tests in its native Korea and some global closed beta tests last year, but some technical problems forced an early close to that testing round. Now, however, the title is coming back for a larger open test that’s kicking off between June 25th and 28th on Steam. The current build promises 14 character that fall into four class buckets, though there appears to be just one arena. That’s fine, though, you can be a big kitty man.
