You’ve probably spent more time than you’d like to admit in Frontier Developments’ Jurassic World Evolution 3, a threequel that had us quite invested in our little version of a dinosaur park when it was released.

We were particularly fond of its unique take on a park management sim and were impressed by how its developers integrated community feedback into the experience. Well, Frontier’s all set to duplicate that feat with the Rebirth Expansion DLC coming to the game on June 16, 2026. It’s going to set you back by $24.99 / €24.99 / £19.99.

It wouldn’t be much of an expansion if there weren’t any new dinos to engage with, and this one doesn’t disappoint. There’s the Distortus Rex, which is as deadly as it sounds. It’s a one-of-a-kind creature with unique kill animations that match its unbridled ferocity, which your staff is going to be hard-pressed to deal with. There’s also the Mutadon, which is as vicious on land as it is in the air. The Titanosaurus is the Devastator to the Auilop’s Ravage, although it might take some time to grow to its full size from its Juvenile variant.

There are also a bunch of movie-accurate Rebirth skins for existing dinos in the base game to look forward to. We’re apprehensive about that Distortus Rex, but that isn’t going to stop us from diving in, thanks to the announcement trailer being as awesome as it is.
