Since the end of last year, we’ve been keeping an eye on the progress of SpiritVale, a super cute MMORPG from Aussie indie developer Baikun Interactive. In fact, we were keeping two eyes on the game this month since it sounded as if a Kickstarter and early access launch were imminent. Both are still coming: The Kickstarter preview page is now up, and the early access has firmed up to July.
“Embark on an epic journey in SpiritVale, a class-based action MMORPG inspired by the classics, explore the world and fight more than 230 Monsters as well as 20+ World Bosses. Level up your character, find the best build for your class and enjoy the wonders of Nevaris,” the solo dev says on the Kickstarter teaser page, which obviously isn’t complete yet but still stresses that the game will be free-to-play with purely cosmetic buyables. “Explore this world with more than 30 maps filled with unique biomes, diverse monsters, boss fights and players in every corner. From Meadows to Underwater Adventures, each biome delivers fresh discoveries and bold challenges. Discover more about this massive world as you immerse yourself in a new journey.”
While we wait, Baikun has also popped out a fresh trailer to show off the game’s cutesy graphics and cartoon vibes.
