While its appeal has dulled since launch for many reasons, Battlefield 6 has a fully packed schedule for this year. In a new video, the development team outlined the roadmap, starting with Season 3 in May, which finally brings Railway to Golmud, a remake of the classic Battlefield 4 map.

Touted as the biggest map yet (four times larger than Mirak Valley), it includes larger aerial spaces, new cover instances, and even more long-range opportunities. But that’s not all, as the Grand Bazaar from Battlefield 3 returns as Cairo Bazaar. It drops later in the same season and offers tight alleyways and CQC combat.

RedSec also sees the debut of Solos and Ranked Play, the latter available only for Quads. However, it will eventually roll out to multiplayer. Season 4 goes live in July and brings another heavily requested feature: Naval Warfare. Players will battle it out on a new map, Tsuru Reefs, which focuses entirely on naval combat and is even bigger than Golmud.

This also signals the return of Wake Island, a long-running favorite among fans. This time, you can look forward to dynamic waves, aircraft carriers with operational flight decks, and even naval base challenges with exclusive rewards. Both maps will begin testing in Battlefield Labs.

Another map debuts this Fall in Season 5, though Battlefield Studios isn’t saying anything about it yet. In the meantime, it has other features to deliver, including a proper Server Browser with persistent servers and custom pregame lobbies, Spectator Mode, the return of Platoons, leaderboards, and proximity chat. And if all this wasn’t enough, the reviled Blackwell Fields (alongside New Sobek City) are receiving rework based on fan feedback.
