Heartopia‘s second major season, “Dreamlight Cinematics,” has begun, running from March 21 until May 2. As usual with these six-week seasons, there are limited-time bugs, fish, flowers, birds, and food recipes to make to earn event currency. As you collect these items, you’ll unlock exclusive rewards, like furnishing recipes, and even limited-time Exhibition Passes.

Based on what we know from the last season, these exclusive collectibles will become completely unavailable once the event ends, so make sure you take the time to grab what you want now.

Below, we list all the available insects, fish, cooking recipes, ingredients, birds, and flowers in Heartopia‘s “Dreamlight Cinematics” season.

Update (March 30): We’ve updated this guide with the additional insect, fish, and the birds made available during week two of the event.

Heartopia ‘Dreamlight Cinematics’ cooking recipes and ingredients

There are 21 cooking recipes as part of the “Dreamlight Cinematics” season, and you can buy most of them from Massimo, with the others being “secret” versions you get by using specific fruit or herbs.

Notably, this season adds special foraging herbs that you can find around the map. You’ll need to pluck several of these to make all the recipes:

Heartopia ‘Dreamlight Cinematics’ flower and flower breeding combinations

In addition to the items above, you can also plant dandelions for a limited time during this event. Dandelions come in a few colors, but you’ll need to water these flowers to get most of them.

A character with rainbow hair poses in front of various colors of dandelions in Heartopia.
Image: XD via gamexplore

You start off with red dandelions, yellow dandelions, and white dandelions, with the seeds being purchasable from Blanc for 30 gold each.

The way flowers in Heartopia work is actually based off of the rarity of the flower, rather than the color. However, each color corresponds to a rarity. For example, all red, yellow, and white dandelions are one-star and all pink dandelions are two-star. For the sake of clarity, we’re using colors to confirm our combinations below.

So far, we’ve been able to create the following:

  • Red dandelion + white dandelion = pink dandelion
  • Red dandelion + yellow dandelion = orange dandelion
  • Pink dandelion + orange dandelion = peach dandelion and black dandelion

There may be multiple ways to crossbreed the flowers to get different colors, but we can confirm the above combinations worked for us. We’re still working out the rest, but the dandelions come in a plethora of other colors: purple, blue, and selene. We’ll update this guide with more crossbreeding combinations as we figure them out.
